Gone West 1870 is open to male and female role players.

Some things in here may be repeated elsewhere.

It's a free form -- open-ended role playing game taking place in the fictional cities of Two Springs, Bourge, Hell Town and the outlaying areas. It is five years after the Civil War and some animosity still exists between the south and the north cowboys.

You will fantasize yourself in the role of a cowboy, be it a sheriff, bounty hunter, outlaw, saloon girl or a merchant -- it will be like writing your autobiography like a dime store comic book of the times.

You will make things happen yourself, you have the use of NPC's that have been created or that you yourself may create.

Do not flame other players in any way, you have a beef take it outside the game between yourselves.

You can start off with your weapons of choice, your horse, whatever clothes you want to wear and have in your saddle bags and bedroll. You must play within the boundaries of your bio, do not create or bring in things you dont have -- they have to be earned through role play. If your bio does not show you as rich or having a benefactor back east, then you cant be buying and building with monies you dont have.

You can role play a sheriff and an outlaw as long as they dont conflict with one another.
