He has short red hair, green eyes and a boyish look to him. He typically wears overalls and a work shirt all have been patched several times but he has one good set of church clothes with no patches. He has a brown flat rim hat and an old heavy coat of furs and patches. He has a well used and worn, but well made boots that are still in good shape. He has a very large knife on his right hip an Arkansas toothpick and colt navy cap and ball revolver in his belt. He has an old horse who had seen its better day, at one time was an excellent horse but that was many years ago, which he has named Romeo. Romeo is usually a pack horse but can ride him in emergency. He has some well used and worn saddle bridle and pads. His pistol is an old colt navy .36-20 100 cap and ball and 5lb powder keg of black powder His trusty squirrel rifle .50 caliber one shot. A double barrel shotgun and load of nails he uses as shot. A large Arkansas toothpick that is razor sharp which is a large hunting knife. He has 3 waterskins and cooking utensils and pack up on food. He keeps most stuff on the horse in 2 large bags and also has 2 large tarps, one he uses as a tent and one to cover his horse. He has 100 feet of heavy rope, shove. Matches, soap, work gloves, corn cop pipe, tobacco, 2 blankets, 2 bottles of moonshine, hatchet and the Holy Bible which he can't read. He has 3 sets of clothes overall jeans socks shirt and 1 set good church clothes with no holes or patches. A large heavy coat of patches and fur and good quality but well worn boots. He has $2.75 in his pocket and his life saving $74.79 in his boot. He has plot of land in Arkansas with a structure Julius calls a house. A little fancy red box with an engagement ring inside.

Background Information:
Born March 12, 1846 in Arkansas, north of Langley but south east from Norman. He has 6 siblings 4 older and 2 younger. 3 older brothers Nap, Alexander and G.K. and one older sister Cleo. One younger brother G.W. and Joan. Ma had a thing for famous leaders. All of Julius's older siblings have dark hair and Julius and his younger sibling all have red hair which didn't make a lot of sense to him. Pa was missing in action in the war, which means we don't know where he is. Both Nap and Alexander served in the war, Nap lost his arm and Alexander was never the same in the head since. G.K. got mixed up and joined the wrong side and by the time he realized and tried to leave they threw him in the brig for desertion. G.K. didn't think much of Lincoln or his army. Julius was already to join but ma told him she sacrificed enough for Mr. Davis and he stayed home and worked the land. Cleo married the first Johnny reb that returned home from the war and already has 3 boys and one kid on the way. G.W. left home at 16 and Joan is still at home, Joan is a tomboy and can't cook worth a darn. Julius took a part time job in a saloon as a bouncer, since he was always good at fighting with his brothers and cousins. He saved enough to get own plot of land and built him a house, more like a shack, well it keeps rain out for the most part. He is a deadeye with his squirrel rifle that he has been hunting with since he was 12 but the sight is off to the right. Any other riffle he shoots he compensates but is only a fair to good shot. He is excellent at hunting and tracking. He never learned how to read and write but is good with numbers especially with his money and recognizes some words like saloon and store. He is more comfortable out in wilderness than in town and around animals than people. He has a phobia about trains, he will not board one and cautiously crosses the tracks. He has been dating Sarah Jane for 3 years know and been trying to get the courage up to ask her to marry him.
