Born and raised in Tennessee. Fought in the Civil War as the youngest captain under the command of General (Stonewall) Jackson.

Pistol, repeater rifle, whip, and knife. Has the horse he rode in the Civil War named Traveler Jr. after General Robert E. Lee's horse. Has a saddle, blanket, bedroll, ammo, and two changes of clothes.

Came home to Tennessee to find all his family killed and his family home burned to the ground. Drifted for awhile and ended up in Two Springs when he heard that they needed a marshal in this town and applied for the job. Treats everybody fairly but can be tough when the need arises. Also fairly good with a gun and an expert with a whip that he carries strapped to his side.
